The Dual Welsh Slate Monolith Water Feature

Our Welsh Slate Monolith Water Features are very unique with never two the same and can be supplied in various sizes. While the 2ft & 3ft can be installed by hand, when you are thinking of purchasing a 4ft or 5ft monolith this can be a completely different exercise!

With any Slate Monolith Water Feature you need to be sure that it can not be easily knocked over, and for a 4ft or 5ft monolith we would only feel happy supplying you one which has a broad base to give it stability. This means a lot more weight and typically will involve machinery to move it into place which is fine if you have a landscaper or similar to fit it

For this reason we have designed the Dual Slate Monolith Water Feature. This uses a 2ft & 3ft Slate Monoliths to create a dual water feature!

This has many benefits:-

Dual Slate Monolith Water Feature Benefits over a 4ft or 5ft Slate Monolith

- Firstly you have two lighter monoliths that can be moved without machinery

- The Slate monoliths cover more area over the reservoir (1800mm in Diameter) with feature stones, with a single 4ft & 5ft, they can seem a little stark in the middle of the paddle stones.

- You have two water features rather than one.

- We will supply and fit an adapter and water supply pipe into the monoliths ready for your connection!

The Stability Of The Slate Monoliths

It goes without saying that one very important consideration with slate monoliths is the stability. Our slate monoliths are not only chosen for their characteristics which can be seen from the pictures we email to you, but they also are selected so that they have a good size base. We also supply the stabilising plates which give the slate monolith even more stability.

- The Feature stones have a manifold system which means you can regulate the amount of water that goes to each slate monolith separately to give you the desired effect!
