Koi Pond Heaters

Although it is not a necessity, koi pond heaters as part of the koi pond design can be installed to give different benefits including growing of your koi during the colder months when they normally become dormant.

The size of the koi pond heaters are dependant on the volume of water. It should be known that if a heater is used the electrical supply needs to be maintained and if the heaters go off the sudden drop in temperature can give rise to shock for your koi.

In the picture shown here the koi heater has be supplied for the duty through two heaters. This gives the benefit that is a heater fails the second heater can a least maintain some heat in the water and limit the shock.
